DESCRIPTION:The Village of New Lenox is excited to host Cruise the Commons again this summer!\n\n\n\nThese cruise night events will offer residents and visitors the opportunity bring their cars\, trucks\, Jeeps\, and bikes and put them on display in the Village Commons. Cruise the Commons will take place on the third Tuesday of the month from May through September:\n\n\n\nTuesday\, May 17 (5:00-8:00 p.m.)\, featuring a live DJ from Answer Back Entertainment\n\nTuesday\, June 21 (5:00-8:00 p.m.)\, featuring music by Schtillrokken\n\nTuesday\, July 19 (5:00-8:00 p.m.)\, featuring music by NXTLife\n\nTuesday\, August 16 (5:00-8:00 p.m.)\, featuring music by Little Giant\n\nTuesday\, September 16 (5:00-8:00 p.m.)\, featuring music by Fifty One Lincoln Band\n\nVehicles\n\nWe encourage all interested drivers to bring out their vehicles! There is no fee to participate. Vehicles of all makes and models are welcome\, and registration is not required. There are no awards planned for this event. Please view the map below for details on entry into the event venue for participating vehicles.\n\n\n\nAdmission\n\nAdmission to this event is free. Guests of all ages are permitted.\n\n\n\nParking\n\nThe Veterans Parkway ring road will be closed to thru traffic during this event to accommodate the event activities.\n\n\n\nParking is available in the south lot of the Village Hall and behind Old Plank Trail Community Bank.\n\n\n\nThe New Lenox Public Library is open during this event. Please help us to treat our neighbor with respect by leaving their parking lot open for library patrons. We appreciate your courtesy.\n\n\n\nAccessible parking is available in the Village Hall loading dock\, located on the west side of the Village Hall.\n\n\n\nFood & Beverage\n\nFood and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale from the concession stand courtesy of the New Lenox Community Park District. Beer\, hard seltzer\, and hard lemonade will be available for sale\, with sales located in front of the Village Hall.
