Attendees will also learn about the history of MHFA in the United States, risk factors and warning signs for non-suicidal self-injury, warning signs of substance abuse dependence, and the MHFA action plan for individuals addicted to substances. The virtual training will be based on new curricula that has been in development for more than a year. It includes expanded content on trauma, addiction, and self-care.
